Dr. Shareeda Tyaire is the Founder of Brown Girls Rock Inc. Brown Girls Rock Inc. is a non-profit organization geared toward empowering the lives of Brown girls via education and resources on self love, self care, self esteem, mental and physical health.
Throughout her career, Dr. Tyaire has worked with a broad spectrum of client populations. She has experience with adults, children, adolescents, co-occurring treatment, individual, and group counseling. She specializes in working with those who struggle with childhood trauma, addictions, relationship conflict, and family of origin issues. She particularly enjoys working with the youth, adolescents, and female populations. Her holistic approach is tailored to the needs of her clients, focusing on problem resolution, triggers, and helping clients to establish and reach their goals. She believes that everyone can rise above adversity and heal, and she is ready to guide and coach you through that process.
Dr. Shareeda Tyaire is the author of the “It’s going to be okay” series. As a young biracial girl and ACOA (Adult Children of Alcoholics), she experienced many traumatic events during her childhood. This series was born out of her desire to help children understand that they are not alone, it’s not their fault, and it’s going to be okay.
